Purpose: Segments responses by excluded-category pathway, sector, operating scale, geography and experience.

Thank you for taking part. This survey is part of a research project examining the competencies needed for safe and effective professional drone operations in Australia. This version is specifically for people who conduct operations under an excluded-category pathway rather than under a ReOC.
The survey asks about how you prepared, the competencies you use, the gaps you encountered and whether a stronger baseline competency framework would be valuable. It is not a compliance audit or test. Responses are anonymous and no individual or organisation will be identifiable in published findings. You may stop at any time.
For this survey, ‘excluded-category operator’ means a person conducting an RPA operation that Part 101 permits without a ReOC, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions and standard operating conditions. Some excluded-category pathways may still require a RePL. If you also conduct ReOC operations, answer only about your excluded-category activities.
