CALL FOR SPEAKER ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

Thank you for your interest in speaking during CCMC's 2026 Virtual Symposium, October 13 - 15, 2026. Abstracts from all specialty areas of case management and disability management are welcome for consideration.

The CommissionTM is seeking client advocacy professionals such as case managers, disability management specialists, public health workers, social workers, and other related subject matter experts to submit abstracts for consideration. Client advocacy professionals represent the interests of clients in complex health, social, employer, and community settings, ensuring that clients' needs and concerns are addressed.

Abstracts should introduce innovative and timely perspectives related to care delivery across the continuum and include how to relate integrated client advocacy professional topics, personal experiences, storytelling, and case studies when possible. Content should be engaging, evidence-based, and practice-informed. Themes to consider when designing your abstracts are listed below:

  • Leadership / Communication / Emotional Intelligence
  • Leave and Absence Management / Work Accommodations

  • Population Health / Access to Care / Community or Rural Healthcare

  • Workers' Compensation / Disability Management
By submitting this abstract, you are indicating you understand sessions of a promotional/commercial nature will NOT be accepted. Session content may not promote products and/or services that have a relevant financial relationship with the presenter.
CCMC's Virtual Symposium will offer one complimentary Virtual Symposium registration per speaker for each accepted submission (limit of up to two presenters per abstract proposal, non-transferable). No additional compensation will be provided beyond the offer of one complimentary registration per speaker (up to two speakers per session).

*The abstract is a brief, clear summary of the information in your presentation. A well-prepared abstract enables readers to identify the basic content quickly and accurately, to determine its relevance to their interests or purpose and then to decide whether they want to listen to the presentation in its entirety. The abstract should tell a complete story – what is the purpose for the session, what problem are you trying to solve. Are there frameworks, tools, or strategies they can use in their practice?

If your proposed abstract addresses ethical considerations as described on page 4 of the PACE Guide please include evidence of ethics and its practical application, based on the CCMC Code of Professional Conduct, in the description and learning outcomes for the presentation. Documentation will also be required in the abstract submission. The content should deal with an ethical issue, not just reflect ethical concepts that may apply, but how they are applied to mitigate ethical conflict or dilemmas.
