HMRC will be releasing a new service which will help UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS) businesses easily store and share goods information. Where intermediaries are used, traders will be able to share a personalised goods description to remove the need to share detailed information. To set this up, you will need to review your historical data based on previous goods movements to Northern Ireland.
Please take a look at the following example and imagine that this contained your data from the last year. Reviewing could include but is not limited to:
removing duplicates
updating trader reference or goods description
assessing the eligibility of goods for the use with simplified dataset of the Windsor Framework (if needed)
