Call for Expression of Interest from Group Training Organisations for the recruitment of Indigenous Participants into the Community Services Program – Aged Care, Disability and Child Care.
 
A Commonwealth of Australia program as represented by the National Indigenous Australians Agency

NAEN invites expressions of interest for the Community Services Project. The contract funds support of Indigenous people in the Childcare or Aged Care sectors.

Program Outcomes:
  • Pathways for adults into work
  • Create viable Indigenous businesses
  • Economic and social benefits for Indigenous people, particularly in remote areas
Participant eligibility:
  • Identity as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
  • Not be in receipt of other support under the JLEP or VTEC programs
GTO Requirements: 
  • On the national register of Group Training Organisations
  • Established connection with a Registered Training organisation with the following qualifications on scope: 
    • CHC30113 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
    • CHC40113 - Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care
    • CHC50113 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
    • CHC33015 - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
    • CHC43015 - Certificate IV in Ageing Support
    • CHC43115 – Certificate IV in Disability
  • Open to all GTOs but members of the National Apprentice Employment Network (NAEN) will receive prioritised access to higher level funding support

Recruitment period:

The recruitment period for all training and employment participants is open until 31 December 2020

Please complete the following survey, following this, eligible GTOs will be allocated a number of placements accordingly.
