AVIXA has conducted a Job/Task Analysis (JTA) to identify the duties and tasks associated with the role of an AV Networking professional. AVIXA is interested in validating this list through a survey of experts like you. We would appreciate it if you would respond to this survey to help us determine if the tasks for an AV Networking professional, identified during the JTA, are correct.
The survey includes a list of tasks that are identified as tasks that an AV Networking professional would perform. You will be asked to rate the frequency and importance of these work tasks. To help you respond, please use the following description of an AV Networking professional:
An AV Networking professional is someone who utilizes both AV and IT expertise to design, install, maintain, or manage a networked AV system by:
- Identifying Client Needs and Roles
- Designing Hardware Network Topology
- Designing Software Network Topology
- Performing System Deployment
- Verifying System Performance
- Conducting Project Closeout
The survey shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey includes a list of tasks that are identified as tasks that an AV Networking professional with 12 months of experience in the field would perform. You will be asked to rate the frequency and importance of these work tasks.
If you do not have time to complete the survey in one sitting, you can stop and complete the survey later (provided you use the same computer and have cookies enabled on that computer). The survey will resume where you stopped. If you do not have cookies enabled, the survey will start over from the beginning again.
