Welcome to the Kalamazoo Promise 10-year Survey!
This survey is intended for alumni of Kalamazoo Public Schools 10 years after their high school graduation. The survey is designed to shed light on how the Kalamazoo Promise helps support further education and workforce preparation, as well as the ways in which the Promise could be improved to support these goals for all KPS students. You do not need to have received Promise funding, or even have been eligible to receive funding, to fill out the survey. You just need to be a KPS high school graduate from the class of 2013.
Your responses to the survey will be kept confidential. Individual responses will be seen only by Promise administrators and researchers at the W.E. Upjohn Institute and used only for statistical purposes. If there is a question you do not feel comfortable answering, you may skip it and continue the survey. Please remember, though, that your responses will help the Promise administrators and the evaluation team at the Upjohn Institute better understand how the Promise is helping meet students' financial aid needs and what can be improved to promote long-term success.
The survey should take you about 20 minutes to complete, give or take a few minutes. At the end of the survey, there is an open text box asking for additional comments either about the survey itself or your experiences since leaving KPS that were not captured by the questions.

To compensate you for your time, all eligible respondents who complete the survey will receive a $25 electronic gift card at Amazon.com. If you do not wish to receive a gift card, there will be an option to opt out at the end of the survey. You must complete the survey to receive the gift card.
