All BAIKU must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. MDT, May 26th, 2024.

an original Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the cycling world.

Judging Criteria:
Minimalist Japanese aesthetic
5-7-5 syllabic construction, three lines, no exceptions
Connection to nature
Connection to cycling
Connection to the outdoors

Prizes:
Ichiban: $88
Jun yūshō: $44
Daisan'i: $22

By submitting a baiku, you agree to allow the Santa Fe Metropolitan Planning Organization to use your poem in the future. Must be a resident of Santa Fe County and able to pick up prize locally.
