Your participation in the survey plays an instrumental role in improving our services to the citizens of the Garner fire district.

What do you expect/feel is the appropriate amount of time it takes for a fire truck to respond to an emergency scene? Please understand there are three main elements in this process that are included, we want you input on the combination of all elements combined.

Call processing- You call 911 and they notify the fire department.

Turnout- the time it takes the station personnel to start responding to the call.

Travel time- how long it takes for the unit to drive to the emergency location.

These elements are combined and are measured as the total response time.
