Potluck & Pitch: Crowd-Funding Event
What is a pitch?
● Short/brief explanation (usually 5 minute presentation) of project and why it should be put into action.
Why are we pitching our idea?
● To provide a platform and seed funding for the Columbus community to share homegrown ideas to improve local food access and food systems.
● Help early stage ideas gain traction and solicit feedback from the community.
● To receive micro-grant to kick-start project.
Who are we pitching to?
● Community members

How do we pitch?
● Each presenter has five minutes to share their idea and answer three-four questions from the audience.
● We only have 2 rules: (From Detroit Soup)
○ 1. Projects must benefit the Columbus region.
○ 2. Presenters cannot use technology to present their idea. (so no videos, audio files, powerpoints, etc)
What happens next?
● Submit the following project micro-grant proposal by Nov. 3, 2017.
