What is it: GEAR:Shift is a quick cycle learning method that we developed for the Chronic Disease Management Academy last December and that we are applying to a virtual journal club. GEAR stands for

Journal club is a monthly 30 minute discussion of a peer reviewed article from the management and leadership literature

When is it: Thursday, April 21st at 3pm eastern time.

What is the article:
Fostering More-Effective Public Health by Identifying Administrative Evidence-Based Practices: A Review of the Literature by Ross Brownson and colleagues.

How to do it: Read the article, join via webcam, and discuss. You must join by video. If you need help in getting that set up ahead of time, please contact Jeanne Alongi at jalongi@chronicdisease.org.
