Gender Diversity Trans Inclusion Welcome Page

Welcome Page

Toronto Police Service (TPS) would like to hear from you about your views on its efforts to train police officers and revise practices and procedures to fairly treat members of Trans and gender diverse community and improve relationships with this community.

We recognize that not everyone could attend the townhalls on January 19, 2022 and March 23, 2022. We would like to give an opportunity to any community member to provide feedback on this important initiative. Your responses to this survey will help TPS to develop meaningful relationships with Trans and gender diverse community and demonstrate accountability.

The survey is voluntary – you can skip any questions you are not comfortable answering, and stop at any time. The survey will take 10 - 15 minutes to complete.

The survey is anonymous – you will not be identified through the survey, and no one will ever connect you with your responses so that you can be as open and honest as you want.

The survey will be open until June 30, 2022. Responses to the survey will inform the TPS’ approach to evaluate the impact of training and revised procedures on the relationships with gender diverse and Trans community and the quality of services provided to this community.

If you have any questions or concerns about this survey or you would like to find out more about this initiative, you may contact: Rose-Ann M. Bailey - Special Projects Consultant at 416-808-0088 or email at rose-ann.bailey@torontopolice.on.ca
