Regulatory Education in Engineering Programs

FDA is organizing a 1½ day AIMBE workshop on medical device regulatory education in engineering programs. The intent of the workshop is to identify approaches for enhancing regulatory awareness in engineering students to prepare them for careers involving medical devices. The objective is to improve the ability of new graduates to support medical device innovation, development, and evaluation. The workshop will bring together academics, medical device industry leaders, and regulatory experts.

The workshop will be held on April 15-16, 2019 at the FDA campus in Silver Spring, MD. There is no registration fee for attending the workshop; however, attendees will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
