As part of Community Banking Month in April, Moody Bank is honoring the people who make the biggest impact in our communities. This award will honor 5 individuals and 1 organization for their hard work and dedication to the community.
Where will Moody Heroes take place?
This award is open to all counties that have a Moody Bank banking center, please make sure all nominees reside in one of these counties: Galveston, Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Travis, or Comal
When can you nominate your volunteer?
The nomination period is from Friday February, 1 - Friday, March 1.
Descriptions of each Category:
Moody Bank Outstanding Volunteer- Moody Bank Employees only
· A Moody Bank Employee that has gone above and beyond to volunteer in their community. They have exceeded their allotted 8 hours of paid volunteer time and have represented the bank well while giving back.
Moody Bank Community Hero
· A first responder that surpasses his/her job duties. Someone who is not only involved in the community, but is consistently reliable especially during times of need.
Moody Bank Community Impact Organization
A non-profit organization that not only helps those in need, but goes out of their way to support other organizations in their goal to improve the community overall.
Moody Bank Outstanding Student
· A student that has exemplified leadership through serving others. When they’re not in school, they are performing acts of service in their community.
Moody Bank Outstanding Community Partner
· An Outstanding Community Partner is a local influential leader who is committed to fostering the growth of their community, in all aspects. This person should exemplify active participation, enthusiasm, and an obligation to community enrichment.
Moody Bank Outstanding Teacher
· Despite having a lot on their plate with lesson plans and helping students after school, somehow this teacher always finds the time to get out in their community and volunteer. A teacher whose dedication translates both in and out of the classroom.
What is the reward?
One winner in each category will receive a plaque and a gift card for being the best of the best! We will announce the winners in April to highlight Community Banking Month.
