COVID 19 impact on veterinary services in the last 4 weeks |
Dear Colleagues,
AVA is communicating with relevant government departments to request that veterinary services are seen as critical services and advocating for timely access to Covid -19 testing of staff to minimize disruption of service. We need to communicate the current scale of COVID –19 impact on veterinary hospitals around Australia and to include specific examples in veterinary disciplines such as closure of emergency clinics or specific veterinary work or particular geographical regions that are being hit hard and the impact this is having on animal health and welfare.
