The research study is titled, “The Role of a Corporate Trainer:  A Qualitative Descriptive Study.”
M. Dave Salisbury is a doctoral student under the supervision of Dr. Susan Miedzianowski in the College of Doctoral Studies at Grand Canyon University and is researching for a dissertation.  The purpose of this study is to understand the role of the trainer and their influence on employee behavior and identity.
This document defines the terms and conditions for consenting to participate in this research study.
      How do I know if I can participate in this study?
You can participate if you can answer “Yes” to all of the following:
o   Speak English?
o   Live and work in the United States?
o   Employed in an English-speaking business?
o   Participated in live or synchronous online training
o   Over the age of 18?
o   Willing to answer demographic questions about your age, level of education, years of experience in your industry, years with your current employer, your current job title, and time since you last experienced live training?
o   Fit into ONE of the following groups –
      §  Employee – with at least six months of seniority
      §  Trainer and Front Line Supervisors – between two to five years’ experience in live training, coaching, or mentoring employees
      §  Senior trainer – a minimum of six years experience in live training
o   Willing to be recorded audibly and visually via Zoom (May opt out of visual recording if desired).
