The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) is conducting research on practical considerations for the care of art and artifacts with gas-filled tubes, commonly referred to as neon and fluorescent tubes. The goal of this survey is to better understand the approaches and needs of those caring for these objects. Its results will help shape future projects.
