Preston once had 4 secondary education providers: Preston East, Preston Tech, Preston Girls' Tech and Preston Girls' Secondary. Of these, Preston East maintained a connection into the current Northern College of Arts and Technology located on Murray Road.

The other schools were closed over time. Only the Preston Girl's S.C. site was retained, and it is on this site that Preston High School now exists.

This year, Preston High School is open to the first year 7 intake in the local area for a number of years!

And, we'd like to build our community and celebrate the traditions of education that has gone before us.

So, please tell us about you.

We'll be in touch ... it may take us a little time as we gather information but bear with us, we look forward to connecting with you in the future.

Sean Butler,
Foundation Principal,
Preston High School
