The Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Consultation Department is seeking to gather information about Traditional Land Use along the mountain range of Crowsnest Pass and Sparwood area. We are looking to you for your concerns about the impact of coal mining activity on your Section 35 Rights practices in and around this area.

All responses are kept strictly confidential and private. Any personal details you share will only be used to contact you in the future if you wish to participate in any future engagement opportunities that may arise on the matter.

Your participation will support the development of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government Traditional Land Use studies in relation to the Coal Mine with NWP to help protect the rights of Métis Citizens practicing their rights in the Foothills Métis District 1.
