Our research aims to understand the causes of diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and dementia. These diseases share some common features and so are sometimes called neurodegenerative diseases. Although patients with these diseases might have very different signs of disease (e.g. some might have problems with movement, others might have loss of memory), sometimes they have overlapping symptoms which can make diagnosis hard. You might be a patient or be a friend, relative or carer of someone with the disease - we are keen to hear from you.
