  • LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a U.S. Green Building Council designation. Offering a commuter program for your employees is one of many options to earn points toward this designation. Someone in facilities will know whether or not your building(s) has this designation.
  • GBN (California Green Business Network) is a statewide designation for organizations that implement strategies related to energy use, pollution, solid waste, transportation, and water. There is an annual certification fee. We verify the transportation section.
  • BWC (Best Workplaces for Commuters from Center for Urban Transportation Research) nationally recognizes organizations that offer commuter benefits. An application and fee are required annually ($480). Membership includes valuable case studies and recruitment visibility.
  • LAB (League of American Bicyclists) designates companies, schools, cities, buildings, and more as bicycle friendly on a scale from bronze to gold. There is an application and fee very two years ($100). LAB designations have a following, so designation is useful for recruitment.
  • CUP (Condition of Use Permit) is issued by a jurisdiction. If your site is newer in Goleta, SB, or County area, you may have a condition of use related to a commuter program. Our commuter program ensures compliance.
