Input on Georgetown’s Sidewalk Extension and Streatery Program – Business Survey

The Georgetown BID installed sidewalk extensions and streateries on M Street and Wisconsin Avenue in April 2021 to create space for outdoor dining, an improved pedestrian environment, and help Georgetown recover from the pandemic. The sidewalk extensions (dedicated space for pedestrian activities-not outdoor dining) and streataries (dedicated space for outdoor dining only) allow for outdoor dining at 28 restaurants, extended walking sections, and bus platforms. The permit for Georgetown’s sidewalk extensions and streateries expires in December 2023.

Please fill out this business and employee survey to help us evaluate this program and inform next steps for Georgetown’s expanded sidewalks.
