High phosphorus (P) fixing soils affect a significant proportion of the southern and western Australian grain-growing regions. High P-fixing soils decrease P use efficiency, reduce crop yields by up to 50% and can result in poor return on P investment. A project supported by GRDC and led by Agriculture Victoria, is working with growers, advisers and researchers to improve understanding and management of high P-fixing soils.

You are invited to complete this short survey to help us better understand current practices, challenges and decision-making around managing P in high P-fixing soils.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Your participation is completely voluntary, and you may choose to stop at any time. All responses are anonymous, confidential, and individual responses will not be identified or reported.

The information collected will be used to:
  • Identify current practices
  • Monitor changes in management practices over time
  • Understand how growers and advisers integrate research into decision-making
  • Improve the relevance and impact of GRDC-supported research and extension.
We value your time and insights, and your answers will help ensure this work delivers meaningful outcomes for growers managing high P-fixing soils.
