2022 Neuro-APP Conference and Annual Conference Travel Survey

The AANN Neuroscience Advanced Practice Provider Educational Conference (Neuro-APP) will be held Wednesday, January 5 – Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront and the Annual Conference will be held Sunday, March 12 – Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ. Considering the current recommendations related to gathering and travel guidelines associated with the coronavirus resurgence, we would like your perspective on attending an in-person meeting.

We recognize your feelings may change over the next few months, but we wanted to check in.
1.Before the coronavirus resurgence, were you planning to attend the in-person Neuro-APP Conference in January 2022 or Annual Conference in March 2022?
2.After the resurgence in coronavirus hospitalizations, have you changed your mind about attending the Neuro-APP Conference in January 2022 or Annual Conference in March 2022?
3.Assuming no further restrictions are put in place, would you personally feel comfortable enough traveling and participating in the Neuro-APP Conference in January 2022 and/or Annual Conference in March 2022?
4.If we do hold the Neuro-APP Conference and Annual Conference in-person in 2022, what can we do to help you feel safe in the environment?
5.Does your institution or workplace currently have a travel ban?
6.If AANN were to implement a mask mandate at the conference(s) throughout the meeting space (except when you are eating or drinking), would you be comfortable complying with this?
7.Does your institution or workplace currently have any budget restrictions for attending or traveling to an in-person conference?
8.If we were able to offer both an in-person and virtual conference, would your institution/workplace require you to attend the virtual option or would you be allowed to attend in-person?
9.Do you have any other thoughts, concerns or questions not covered above?
