Share your questions, concerns, and ideas to help shape the next 50 years!

Estimated Survey Time: 5 minutes - 10 minutes

As an Oregonian, your experiences and insights are essential in shaping the future of land conservation and development efforts in our state. We know that when we get land conservation and development decisions right, we foster a more sustainable and resilient Oregon for all. But, when we get them wrong, we know that certain communities are set back: whether it's their quality of life, health, safety, or prosperity. And, when that happens, we all suffer.

With your help, we can get more of our land conservation and development decisions and efforts back on track and shape a better Oregon for generations to come.

Our Strategic Planning Team wants to learn about pressing needs, challenges, and benefits that impact your daily life and your community. This survey is one of many ways that the 1000 Friends of Oregon's board of directors understands how to better tailor our land use planning policy research, community organizing, and programming.

Your questions, concerns, and ideas will help the board of directors identify which major threats and opportunities we should prioritize in the coming 5 years. Even more importantly, you will help the board of directors understand why, where, and how.

For this survey, we use the term "land conservation and development decision/effort." We define this term broadly. It can include long-range land use planning processes (maybe a comprehensive plan or an economic development strategy or a climate action plan), infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads), and/or specific development decisions (housing, warehousing, data centers).

*An important note: we believe in and honor your right to privacy. We will not share or sell your personal information except in limited instances where the law requires us to disclose information.*
