* 9. Are some products delivered to your business by Direct Store Delivery (DSD)? DSD is when a supplier brings their products directly to the retail store and stocks the retail shelves. This is commonly done by beverage companies. It may also be done with local suppliers.

* 14. Are foods prepared in a central kitchen that is owned by your company? The FDA defines central kitchens as locations that only prepare/manufacture food. Foods are never sold at these locations. These locations are most likely FDA-registered or USDA-inspected.

* 16. Are prepared foods purchased from an outside company/facility? Not the same warehouse or companies that provide the retail establishment with other products.
