This is a survey for residents and businesses on Castle Street and the adjoining area
This survey will stay open until 24th November. It is intended to be completed by businesses and residents in the Castle Street Area.
Our proposal would include closing Castle Street for three full days from the 17th - 19th January, as well as partial closure on George Street on Carnival Day (18th Jan) to facilitate the Parade.
There would still be pedestrian access on either pavement.
It is not our intention to create a noisy loud event, but a socially engaged space where local people can appreciate this part of Dumfries.
The pop up event would run from 10am - 10pm daily.
