After attending this workshop, the participants will be able to:
- Apply a structured approach to pediatric airway management including preparation, airway device selection, and escalation strategies.
- Demonstrate core pediatric airway skills including mask ventilation, supraglottic airway placement, and tracheal intubation using video laryngoscopy.
- Recognize and manage pediatric airway failure, including early identification of a cannot-intubate–cannot-oxygenate (CICO) scenario and appropriate escalation.
- Apply crisis resource management principles to optimize team performance during pediatric airway emergencies.
- Identify opportunities to improve pediatric airway preparedness within their own clinical environments.
