Tilley Memorial Park User Survey

With a high degree of community and public input, the Tilley Memorial Park (AKA ‘the Beach’) Master Plan was conducted and adopted in 2016.
Five years on, Council and staff are again seeking input to determine priorities for items from the Master Plan. What do you believe we should we do next?
Please complete this short survey and share your thoughts and ideas on this jewel in the Village of Canal Flats! The information will be reported to Village Council and inform budgetary decision making.

Since 2016, and with many contributions from granters like: Canada 150 Program; Columbia Basin Trust; Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust and other sources, a number of priorities from the plan have been completed.
These include: a new washroom with flush toilets to replace pit toilets, redesign of parking area to allow for more efficient parking, interpretive signage installed, improvements to the boat launch, and a play area for children constructed.
The Village of Canal Flats operates Tilley Memorial Park following relevant Federal and Provincial regulations, including consultation with First Nations.
