What is a Dementia Friendly Community?

A dementia-friendly community is a place in which people living with dementia are supported to live a high quality of life with meaning, purpose and value. Hawkesbury City Council want to find out how dementia-friendly the Hawkesbury and the surrounding areas are and what could be done to make it more dementia-friendly. With the support of the community, people with dementia can continue to do many of the things they love.

The information from this survey will be used to develop a plan for a more dementia-friendly Hawkesbury.
