Fund IRL Youth Social Media Use & Well-Being Survey

Youth & Parent Survey: Youth Social Media Use & Well-Being

Across the country, lawsuits involving social media companies and youth mental health are moving forward. If these cases result in settlements or other payouts, those funds could create new opportunities to invest in programs and supports that help young people thrive, such as afterschool programs, sports, arts, mentoring, outdoor activities, and other opportunities for connection and belonging.

We want to hear directly from young people and parents about what is available in their communities, how they experience social media and screen time, and what programs, activities, and supports they would like to see more of. Your responses will help identify community needs and inform conversations about how potential future investments could best support youth well-being in Connecticut.

Parents/guardians will be asked to provide their ZIP code to help us understand geographic differences in access to youth opportunities. Youth will NOT be asked for their ZIP code or other location information.

As a thank-you, everyone who completes the survey and provides an email will be entered into a raffle for one of five $100 gift cards. Thank you for sharing your voice!
