Thank you for providing information prior to the 2016 AMS/OFCM Forum on Observing the Environment from the Ground Up  to be held March 8-9 in Washington D.C. This survey should only take a few minutes. Feel free to respond either from your personal or your current employer's perspective. Results from the survey will be discussed at the meeting.

Regarding the following terms used in the survey: fixed site refers to temporary or permanent deployments of sensors on towers, embedded in the ground or streams, etc.; remote refers to ground-based remote sensors such as lidars, ceilometers, sodars, radiometers; mobile refers to sensors mounted on vehicles, UAVs, etc.; and Internet of Things refers to low to moderate cost sensors that might be deployed in any of the previous categories.
