1. Preliminaries - Welcome to the Confidential, Online Survey (Page 1 of 4 for this section)

Welcome and thank you again for willingness to assist with the follow-up to the confidential, online survey! This follow-up is intended to refine the design for the development of a mobile software application (app) to make it easier to access learning resources using your smart phone or tablet.  It seeks to make the learning environment easier to use and learn for the entire student population by catering for various individual needs including those that identify as having disabilities. At the end, you will be asked whether you are interested in participating in a discussion group or more formal user testing.

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, but you can take as long as you wish to answer and you can go back and update any responses you previously gave as long as this is done before the survey period ends and you have not already submitted it. For your convenience,the survey will be open for an extended period of time.

All sensitive data will be eventually stored on a secure server located at the University of South Australia and only accessible to the researcher (That is, Mr. Lindsley Abadia e-mail: abalb001@mymail.unisa.edu.au, mobile phone: +61 426 242932) and his supervisors (That is, Professor Denise Wood, Ph.D.  e-mail: D.Wood@cqu.edu.au, an adjunct of UniSA, and Doctor Alan Barnes, Ph.D. e-mail: Alan.Barnes@unisa.edu.au, office phone: +61 8 8302 4543). The data will be deleted after five (5) years in keeping with human ethics requirements. Only aggregate data will be saved or used for presentations and publications; making the information de-personalised and private.

The University of South Australia’s (UniSA) Human Research Ethics Committee has reviewed and approved this study.
