Florida Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee User Interest Survey |
Collier County Survey: Florida Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee
Collier County is planning to open the Florida Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee, a culinary agribusiness accelerator at Immokalee Regional Airport that will offer commercial kitchen equipment, food product development and testing, cold- and dry food storage that meets U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and applicable state food safety requirements. The Accelerator would include the following component areas: hot and cold processing, cold assembly, packaging/labeling, high-pressure processing (HPP), a filling/bottling station, caged freezer/refrigerator, and material storage.
The purpose of this survey is to determine the level of interest in the accelerator and to determine the specific needs the Florida Culinary Accelerator @ Immokalee could address that would give culinary entrepreneurs the ability to create successful food and beverage products – and provide these aspiring chef entrepreneurs with the best chances of consistent commercial success. We estimate this survey will take 15-25 minutes to complete and it will be treated confidentially.
