Survey Intro

As an Association for Fire Ecology (AFE) supporter, we value your opinion about how AFE can best serve our fire ecology community. The AFE Board is considering several changes to our journal Fire Ecology and would like your input. Please take this five-minute survey to tell AFE leadership your opinions about the importance of providing Spanish language abstracts in our Fire Ecology journal and other aspects of the journal.

AFE began including a Spanish language translation of our Fire Ecology journal’s abstracts in 2013 to encourage international membership and the growth of the AFE Latina Section. Currently, volunteers generously dedicate their time to producing these translations. With the increase in Fire Ecology articles, AFE is weighing the importance of continuing this service compared to other potential journal services.

AFE is currently shifting Fire Ecology to an online submission/review system. This presents a good opportunity to consider other suggestions to improve our journal.

Thank you from the Editor of Fire Ecology, the AFE Journal Committee, and the Leadership of AFE!
