Village of Tarrytown: Film Location Interest Form

The Village of Tarrytown frequently gets contacted by film companies for film, television and photo shoots in Tarrytown. The Village of Tarrytown requires that film permit applications be submitted for all filming in the Village. However, beyond the public spaces for film locations, film companies are often interested in filming in private residences and businesses.

When a production company films in a private home, property, or business, the production company enters into a contract with the property owner. The Village of Tarrytown does not involve itself in negotiations between a private property owner and a production company; however, every film that shoots in the Village must have a permit to do so.
