Breakout Session Proposal Form
ITAG February 2021 Conference

Thank you for your interest in submitting a breakout session proposal for the ITAG February 2021 Conference!

We know your day is full to the brim, travel for professional leave is not certain, and the demands of teaching this year have changed our routines. With these constraints in mind, ITAG is making some changes to our conference format to allow presenters and attendees more flexibility and more opportunities to conveniently access the expert information that is a hallmark of the conference.

This year, attendees can choose to attend the conference in person, February 9-10, 2021, in a socially distanced and masked setting at the Airport Holiday Inn, Des Moines, IA. The other option is for attendees to access the conference sessions on demand only, which will allow access to recordings of all sessions. Either way, all attendees will have access to recording of all sessions for 90 days with conference registration.

The number of concurrent breakout sessions will be limited to the seating available with social distancing measures in place. In the proposal form, you will be asked to indicate if you (and your co-presenter/s) are willing to present in person at the Airport Holiday Inn (and record your session in advance) or if you prefer only to have a recorded session.

To submit your breakout session proposal, complete the form below by Friday, November 20, 2021. You may wish to write your answers in a Word document and then copy them into the submission form. If you want a copy of your submission, copy and paste your answers into a Word document and save that document.

All breakout sessions are 60 minutes. Presenters are expected to use the full amount of the time for the session, whether that time is for an in-person session or a recorded session.

Acceptance decisions will be made in early December. If your breakout session proposal is accepted for presentation for the February 2021 conference, you will be asked to submit your recorded your session by mid-January 2021.
