On June 1, Santa Clara Unified School District hosted a community information and feedback session, called a Community Conversation, at Peterson Middle School. There were more than 80 people in attendance at the meeting, including community members, parents, and students. Attendees heard about the past, present, and the future for the 11-acre site. Following the presentation, attendees took part in small group discussions around four topics: educational vision, volunteer opportunities, community accessibility, and community and business partnerships.
