Fall 2025 Future Native Teachers Initiative (FNTI) Registration |
October 28–30, 2025 | Pierce College Puyallup. Farm 12, & UW Tacoma
FNTI is a 2.5-day program for Native high school students exploring careers in education. Students connect with Native educators, visit a local elementary classroom, and explore college pathways.
Capacity: Each school may register up to 4 students, with additional names added to a waitlist. (As of October 10, we have space available for extra students; schools simply need to fill out a second registration form) This structure ensures students get a more personal, interactive experience while allowing broad participation from schools statewide.
Meals: All meals are covered (thanks to the generous support of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians.
Lodging: Schools may commute each day or book designated hotels in Puyallup. (Limited financial assistance may be available for those unable to cover hotel costs)
Transportation: Schools/chaperones provide transportation to/from hotels and event sites.
Dress: Casual, comfortable, school/college-appropriate.

Day 1: Welcome, sessions, and dinner at Pierce College Puyallup
Day 2: Morning sessions at Pierce College Puyallup + local elementary school visit; afternoon reflections and dinner at Farm 12 in Puyallup
Day 3: UW Tacoma campus sessions & closing lunch
