The National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH) is now accepting proposals for the Fall 2024 National Agricultural Worker Health Symposium.
Symposium Format
We are excited to launch the Fall 2024 National Agricultural Worker Health Symposium with a training format that will maximize learning, participant engagement, and sharing of promising practices.

- A mixture of informational General sessions will set the stage for daily training, peer-to-peer conversations, and interactive breakout workshops.
- General sessions will be 45 minutes to 60 minutes in duration, providing foundational context for three workshops that will follow.
- The 90 minute workshops will begin with a 30-minute didactic presentation, followed by a 45-minute participatory activity to reinforce learning. Workshops will end with a 15-minute facilitated discussion. These facilitated discussions will offer an opportunity for Symposium attendees to gather strategies, promising practices, and additional resources that will help them better serve agricultural worker populations.

NCFH expects that participants will be empowered by shared knowledge and capacity building activities that address disparities and enhance population health. We believe the Symposium will also increase public understanding of complex issues in agricultural worker communities and provide attendees with actionable tools to improve their professional practices.
