VIRTUAL POSTER COMPETITION

YOU CAN ONLY BE A FIRST AUTHOR ON ONE POSTER.

ALL APPLICATIONS ARE SUBMITTED BY FIRST AUTHOR ONLY.
 
*MEDICAL STUDENTS & FELLOWS CAN APPLY BUT WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN.
 
Poster Competition: Virtual poster boards will be displayed during the virtual meeting for viewing.
 
Application deadline for a poster is Friday, August 21st. Deadline for the abstract paragraph & poster PDF is Friday, September 4th.
 
This application is ONLY for the first author of the abstract. Those that are second, third authors do not need to submit an application. All communication & submissions are to be done by the FIRST AUTHOR ONLY.

Virtual Poster Competition:
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the amounts of $500, $300 and $200 as well as certificates

Poster PDF:
-The poster presentations should present scientific information utilizing narrative material, photographs, charts, diagrams, etc.  
-Just like in the past few years, you will submit a PDF of your poster. This is typically made in PowerPoint and needs to have be in high resolution and HORIZONTAL.
-Your poster PDF will be uploaded on the virtual meeting platform and there will be a virtual poster area for attendees to view during breaks and in their free time.
-Poster PDFs need to be emailed to alyssa.hanson@texmed.org by September 4th.
-Announcement of the winners will be on Saturday, September 26th during the Business Luncheon.
 
Abstract Paragraph:
-All presenters must submit a PDF abstract that is typewritten, double-spaced, one page with 12 point Times New Roman font for the abstract booklet.
-This abstract does not have to include sources. If the sources fit within the one page limit, then they can be added.
-The abstract paragraph must be emailed to alyssa.hanson@texmed.org by September 4th.
