2026-2027 Seniors Active Living Fair Funding Application - Single Site and Virtual Fairs

Important Notice About Completing Your Application

To avoid losing your work, please note the following before starting the application:

• Applicants are encouraged to complete and submit the application in a single session whenever possible.
• If you leave the application and return later, you must use the same device and web browser to access your saved responses.
• To help prevent loss of work, we recommend drafting your responses in the fillable PDF version of the application and then copying and pasting your answers into the online form. Link to fillable application: www.oacao.org/events/seniors-active-living-fairs
• You can request to receive a copy of your responses. Click the box at the bottom of the Declaration page to request: 'send me a copy of my responses via email', and provide your email address.
• Your application will only be received once you click “Done” on the Declaration page.
• You will see a confirmation screen indicating that your application has been submitted.

Application Deadlines noted below:
In-Person Single-Site Fairs & Virtual Fairs Applications:
• Application Deadline #1: Thursday, April 02, 2026, at 5:00 pm EST (For June - Sept 2026 Fairs only)
• Application Deadline #2: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm EDT (For Oct 2026 - March 15, 2027, Fairs)

In-Person Multi-Site Fairs Applications:

Application Deadline: Wed., April 29, 2026, at 5:00 pm EST (For June 2026 – March 15, 2027 Fairs)

*There is limited funding available to fund a set number of Fairs in each funding format.
*Subject to confirmation of funding amount received by OACAO from Government of Ontario.

Funding decisions will be made in a timely fashion, noting that approval notifications will not be sent out until the OACAO receives direction from the Government of Ontario.

REVIEW PROCESS:
Applications will be reviewed by the Seniors Active Living Fairs Selection Committee following an established assessment process and criteria review, including Organizational Capacity; Fair Details; and Financial Feasibility. Refer to the Seniors Active Living Fair Funding Guidelines for eligibility criteria and project requirements.
