Ramsbottom Civic Pride is looking at ways to continue improving the green space between Factory Street and Ramsbottom Lane.
The volunteer group has already made a real difference to the area, helping to make this important gateway into Ramsbottom a more attractive and welcoming space. They would now like to build on that work and explore what further improvements could be made.
Ideas include managing some of the existing trees and overgrown vegetation, adding more colourful planting, spring bulbs and wildflowers, improving paths and steps, repairing sections of existing walling and creating new habitats for birds, insects and other wildlife.
Before any plans are finalised, Ramsbottom Civic Pride would really like to hear from local people about what they think of the space now and what they would like to see happen there in the future. Your feedback will help the group decide where improvements would make the greatest difference and help guide their future work at the site.
The survey will only take a couple of minutes to complete, but it will help make sure that the improvements work for as many people as possible.
