What should be expected from a centre of excellence in parathyroid surgery ?

I would be very grateful if you can respond to the following questions based on your personal journey from reaching a diagnosis to having treatment for primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT).

In an effort to improve the delivery of surgical care for primary hyperparathyroidism, there is a debate about criteria that would define a centre of excellence.  No such centres have been recognised so far as there is no mechanism in place for such a process.

The following questions explore the views of patients affected by this condition.  The aim is to reach patients from many countries - please forward a link to this survey to anybody else you know to be suffering form this condition.
A summary of the information collected will be discussed with members of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons during the plenary meeting in May 2024.
