Stakeholder Survey: Professional Course on Circularity, Reuse and Regeneration

Kingston University is collaborating with CIWM and the Circular Economy Institute to explore the development of a new professional short course designed to help practitioners and organisations apply circular economy principles in practical, inclusive, and community-focused ways.

Unlike conventional courses that mainly emphasise technology and policy, this course will draw on real-world reuse and regeneration practices informed by field research in India and the UK. It emphasises behaviour change, community engagement, circular design, and material flow thinking that can be applied across sectors.

Your feedback will help us assess interest, refine content, and tailor the course to the needs of CIWM and Circular Economy Institute members, as well as wider circularity professionals. The course is envisioned as:

- 4 weeks, part-time (approx. 3–3.5 hours per week)
- CPD-accredited
- Delivered by experts with case-based, participatory, and practice-oriented tools

If you would like to learn more about the context of the course, please check out India's Circular Economy in Action: Learnings from Traditions and Margins (routledge.com) (2026) by Dr Purva Tavri (Kingston University).

The deadline for completing the survey is 22 January 2026. Your views are essential to shaping the course design and ensuring it addresses real needs.
