The 2019 New York State Computer-Based Testing (CBT) Proctor Training & Best Practices Webinar is intended for teachers, tech coordinators, and other educators who will be proctoring or administering the Grades 3-8 ELA and Math computer-based tests for the spring administration.

The webinar is intended to prepare proctors for the day of operational CBT, including how to log into Nextera Admin, locating class and student lists in the administration system, confirming student testing accommodations are properly set, and how to actively proctor in a CBT classroom. We will also share helpful tips and best practices including information on staggering start times, making sure student testing devices are charged, troubleshooting tips, how to contact customer support, and more.

The webinar will be recorded and posted on CBT Support after the webinar event. The webinar URL will also be posted to CBT Support 24 hours ahead of the webinar and shared via the CBT Listserv.

The webinar offers the opportunity for attendees to chat questions directly to  NYSED during the presentation. We will also have a Q&A session at the end of the webinar. After registering, users will be sent a confirmation email that includes the webinar access URL.
