Diversity and Equality Award

The Brighter Future Awards recognises and rewards housing professionals who have made a significant and lasting difference: to tenants or service users, to their community, colleagues, and profession.

After many years of evolution and becoming an important part of the Australian and New Zealand business community, the Social and Affordable housing sector is looking to support industry professionals into leadership roles that sustain this progress and momentum. 

This award recognises organisations that champion diversity and equality and through this create safe and inclusive environment for all people, across all social demographics, particularly those groups of people who are minority represented. 

To be considered applications should address the following: 
  • Explain the programs in place that champion work place diversity and equality 
  • Outline the impact that these programs have had (and continue to have) on workplace culture and workplace performance. 
  • Articulate how these programs might be implemented across the industry to deliver imrpoved diversity and equality outcomes.
