This year CTD is separating our
general Training Needs Inventory (TNI) from specific NRCS-led training requests. This is not your only opportunity to request training from CTD! CTD is planning to hold additional courses, based on new and existing TNI requests. This form is specifically for NRCS-led training. If you have additional training requests beyond these courses, or would like to see a CTD-led version of these topics, please let us know

Please use this form to request NRCS-led training for FY27:
- You can return to it at any time to update your requests; however, the NRCS Employee Development Committee will be making decisions on which courses to hold, and where, based on results received by no later than August 31.
- If you are selected to attend your requested courses, you will be included in the NRCS Training Plan, released in Fall 2026.
- If you are not selected (or submit your requests after Aug 31), you will be placed on a waitlist and notified if seats become available.
- If your requested course is not chosen to be held due to low request numbers or other factors, you will be notified and we can work on other means to satisfy training.
- If you request a course where the dates held are "OJT (on-the-job)", we will reach out to you for more information.

required in-person courses on the way to certification:

Cultural Resources, Part 2.
