The Global Ambassador Program provides SWE members the opportunity to serve in a leadership position representing their city, country, global region and the Society. To be eligible, you must:
-Be a paid FY25 SWE member
-Reside outside of the United States
-Commit to the ambassador responsibilities through 30 June 2025
-Commit to being actively involved in campus and/or community activities
-Complete the online application by 14 June 2024
Ambassadors serve for one year and focus on the following:
1. Promote the SWE brand;
2. Support existing members/affiliates and recruit new members;
3. Serve as experts on SWE programs and services; and
4. Contribute their diverse global perspectives to SWE's strategic program development.
This application will ask you about yourself, your ability to meet the responsibilities of the ambassador role and your leadership development plans. The application will not allow you to save your work, so please plan to complete it in one sitting. FY25 Global Ambassadors will serve until 30 June 2025.
You should expect to hear from SWE with a decision by the end of July.
