2018 Capstone Academy Application for Class of 2023

All Capstone Academy candidates must provide the following after completing the Mater Dei Prep Admissions Application. Documents may be uploaded into your Blackbaud profile or mailed to Mater Dei Prep Attn: Admissions Office

1) Your Mater Dei Prep application must be completed before applying to the Capstone Academy.
2) 7th/8th grade transcript including Standardized Test scores (NJ Ask or Terra Nova).
3) All candidates must average a 93 or above in all academic classes.
4) Candidate resume.
5) Teacher recommendations (approx. 2-3).
6) Community service records.
7) Essay questions below must be completed and uploaded into your Blackbaud profile.

Capstone Academy Essay Questions:

Guidelines: Minimum of 3-4 paragraphs, typed, double-spaced, 12pt font.
Please upload your answers to the Essay Questions into your Blackbaud profile.

Question One:
What is one thing you could do today to improve (y)our local community? How would you accomplish this goal? What is your favorite way to contribute to your community? What do you like about it?

Question Two:
Many great leaders are determined and committed to their causes. Write about something that you feel passionately about—and then explain how you could lead others to also care about your cause.
