APPLICATION FOR FUNDING

Overview:
 
This program enables WA regions and collaborative producer groups to put forward their preferred export activations (or projects), which they intend to coordinate directly, for funding support through WA WINES TO THE WORLD.

Under Grants for Regions & Producer Groups we will consider two different project categories:
  1. Small Projects - These typically average around $5,000 funding support, but can be of higher value.
  2. Large Projects - These are significant projects in terms of their total value and expected outcomes, requiring $20,000+ funding support.
WA WINES TO THE WORLD will provide funding support of up to 40% of total project cost, although projects that contribute more than 60% funding from industry and/or other contributors will be viewed favourably. Applications must be submitted by the intended lead organisation. 

Proposed activations must contribute to the overall program KPI's:
  • Grow WA wine export sales volume
  • Grow WA wine export sales value
  • Grow the number of WA wine exporters
Applicants need to provide a detailed submission with itemised budget for review.  Note that submissions will be reviewed on a competitive basis, subject to a budget pool and in the context of the total 2024/25 program composition.
 
Key dates as follows:
  • Nov 21, 2023: Applications open
  • Jan 31, 2024: Submissions due
  • Mar 01, 2024: Applicants notified re outcomes
  • July 01, 2024: Earliest commencement date for projects
